Meet Dr. Behzad Nejat
Dr. Behzad Nejat was raised in Saratoga, California, and completed his studies in Computer Science at UC Berkeley, graduating with honors and receiving a Dean’s Medal Nomination. His educational journey continued at UC San Francisco, where he obtained a doctorate in dentistry with honors, actively contributing to diverse dental engineering projects.
Driven by a passion for perfecting smiles, Dr. Nejat pursued specialized training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics through postdoctoral education. He holds the esteemed title of Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and remains dedicated to advancing dental research and ongoing professional development.
Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Nejat brings a research-driven mindset to everything he does. His Master’s thesis at UNLV pioneered a method for forensic facial approximation using cone-beam CT imaging — combining cephalometric orthodontic analysis with forensic anthropology to identify unknown individuals from skeletal remains.
